The Course Long Name, Course Short Name And Description Should Be Populated From The Scorm2004 Manifest File During The Catalog Import (Doc ID 2205314.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 23, 2016

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise ELM Enterprise Learning Management - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

When loading a SCORM2004 compliant course through the Catalog Import page, the course long name, course short name and description are not being populated from the manifest file. When uploading the manifest file, the application looks for a tag “langstring”, but that tag is not in the manifest file. Hence the course long name, course short name and description are getting a blank value.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Main Menu >Enterprise Learning -> Catalog -> Catalog Import
2. Load the SCORM Content
3. After it has been loaded, click on Edit
