When the Verification Tolerance setup specifies that the Federal Tolerance is $1, there are students who have their Verification Status set to "Tolerance" when there is no differences between the ISIR and Verification data. This occurs when income data has been left blank on the FAFSA (and loaded as blank on the ISIR) and Get Fed Data is used on Manage Verification component.
1. Financial Aid > Verification > Manage 2016-2017 Verification (or which ever Aid Year is current)
2. Click Get Fed Data
3. Run Perform Batch Consolidation or Consolidate data online
4. Run Perform Batch Verification or run Auto Verification (although fields would have to be manually selected for corrections)
If there are any other changes to the ISIR Data, the blank values are updated to $0
