SOB: After Applying PUM 20 - Newly Registered Supplier Cannot Log In - Message received: USER ID AND PASSWORD ARE INVALID (Doc ID 2210744.1)

Symptoms

After applying PUM 20, supplier on-boarding registration is broken, newly registered supplier cannot

After applying PUM 20, supplier on-boarding registration is broken, newly registered supplier cannot log into supplier portal.   Receiving this message:  "USER ID AND PASSWORD ARE INVALID"


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. In the Supplier Portal, Register a New Supplier (Individual)
  2. Complete all the pages and submit the request.
  3. Supplier Approver Approves the registration.
  4. The new Supplier User tries to log in but is given this message:  "USER ID AND PASSWORD ARE INVALID"
