On : 8.54 version, PeopleSoft Update Manager

The Deploy Scripts Type Step fails when deploying a script (file) that is for an Oracle script. The target platform is SQL Server and the package is defined with SQL Server as the platform.

File: CR8_TRIGGER.sql

Retrieving file: CR8_TRIGGER.sql
Matching Target Location.
Contacting EM Hub.
Failure: Database Type not matched.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Run the deploy scripts step in CA

The issue has the following business impact: Major impact as this is stopping the update process.


The message is correct because the TARGET is running on MS SQL and the file is for ORACLE. However, it flags the step as FAILED.
