ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

Dynamic roles – Execution or rules results in two instances

When executing the rules for a dynamic role, if the count of users is >1000, you are prompted to hit save before running them and once you hit save and execute rules again, two instances of the run are generated.

A document has been attached with replication steps and information.

We are patched to HCM 9.2 PUM13, Interaction Hub 9.1 Revision 3, and on PeopleTools 8.54.13

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

When executing the rules for a dynamic role, if the count of users is >1000, you are prompted to hit save before running them and once you hit save and execute rules again, two instances of the run are generated.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to: PeopleTools > Security > Permission and Roles > Roles
2. Select a role with dynamic members and click to Execute rule.
3. Select a role where count of users is >1000, you are then prompted to save before executing role rules.
4. Click Execute rules – the transaction now goes through without being prompted to save.
5. Check process monitor two instances of the rules are running at the same time.
