The HC_HRS_APPLICANT index sometimes appears to hang while processing particular applicants. Based on the logs the process is waiting to download/index resume attachments. It seems to attempt for 10 minutes then reports “read timed out” or “connection reset” for each resume an applicant has. This means if an applicant has 12 resumes the process runs an extra 2 hours. The crawler does not seem to do anything else while waiting for these. Other applicants within the same instance, before and after, process without issue.
Issue experienced with both the full build and incremental builds, but the problem may be sporadic. It can appear for a couple days for the same user, but then go away.
When attachment links are opened from a browser, the documents are downloaded without issue.

STEPS TO REPLICATE
Issue is intermittent and unable to be reproduced at will. Certain scenarios seem to cause it more.
1. Applicant is one of the indexes that HR functional areas may request to be updated hourly. When this issue occurs on the hourly job, which normally runs in 10-15 minutes, it can instead take many hours.
