On PeopleSoft Enterprise Campus Solutions, Student Records, Student Records Enrollment

When a student enrolls in a class with a choice of grading options and elects S/U grading, the instructor is unable to assign a grade from the SUS grading basis to all students. The grade field shows "Invalid Value," and the instructor can save the grade roster without assigning a grade and with "Invalid Value" still in the grade field.

The optional grade basis should be referenced, and the instructor should be able to select it and assign it to all students who elected that grade basis option.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Enroll a student in a class with optional grading basis who selects SUS grading basis upon enrollment.
2. Generate a grade roster for the class. Log into self service as the instructor assigned to the class with grade privileges.
3. Retrieve the roster and note that the grade field displays 'Invalid Value' in the grade field, and S or U grades cannot be selected in the 'assign all...' grade field.

The problem causes an administrative user to have to assign grades to some students before the roster can be posted.
