MSS Ad Hoc Salary Change Not Updating the Annual Rate when Approval = OFF (Doc ID 2220388.1)

Symptoms

When approval setup is off and an Ad Hoc Salary Change is submitted via Manager Self Service, the Annual Rate on Job Data is not updated even though a new Effective date row with the correct action of “Pay” and the correct action reason is inserted.

STEPS

1.Login as User ID:PS/PS.Go to Setup HCM->Common Definitions->Self Service->Workflow configurations.Uncheck the Approval process checkbox beside Ad Hoc Salary Change.
2.Now Login as manager and then submit the transaction. Manager Self Service > Compensation and Stock > Request Ad Hoc Salary Change.Select any employee.Eg KU0119.Insert new amount and click on Next and submit.
3.Login as User ID:PS/PS.Check the Emplid- KU0119.Go to Job Data: Main Menu > Workforce Administration > Job Information > Job Data. When the Work Location page opens, validate that a new row with the effective date and the action / action reason are added.Click on the “Compensation” tab.Check the Annual Rate remain unchanged.
