Symptoms

On : 9.2 version, Dunning

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------

The AR Dunning process inserts items on the Dunning Detail record even if a Dunning Letter will not be sent for the item. With this, the detail rows are being orphaned since there is an entry in the detail record but no entry in the header record.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------

The AR Dunning process should not insert data on the Dunning Detail record(DUN_CUST_DTL) when Dunning Letter will not be sent.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

Scenario 1:

  1. Setup Dunning Method with Dunning level start date starting from 46 days and not start date=1.
  2. Creating a Pending Item with Accounting Date=01/07/2016 and posted it.
  3. Run the Dunning Process with As of date falling between 1-45 days.
  4. Data only got inserted into the DUN_CUST_DTL table and not the DUN_CUST table.
  5. Issue replicated. The delivered process AR Dunning inserts items on the Dunning Detail record even if a Dunning Letter will not be sent for the item. With this, the detail rows are being orphaned since there is an entry in the detail record but no entry in the header record.

Scenario 2:

  1. Run the Dunning Process with As of date falling between 46-61 days.
  2. Data got inserted into both the tables. DUN_CUST_DTL and DUN_CUST. This is working as expected.
