EMM: Service Request Wizard Request Type Incorrect (Doc ID 2223088.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 23, 2019

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise FIN Maintenance Management - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

When user use the Service Request Wizard to create service request, in the Request Type list, the Type and the actual items are not in sync.

Looks like this issue is caused by the internal structure of ComponentWM_ADD_WR_WIZARD. In page WM_WR_SUMMARY_WIZ there's a drop-down list box with Field WM_WR_WRK.TREE_NODE. This field is using WM_PRB_LVL_VW as prompt table.
Since WM_PRB_LVL_VW has over 100K rows, way over the 300 row limit for drop-down list, the page generate the error (in the Request Type list, the Type and the actual items are not in sync). In a clone of WM_PRB_LVL_VW with 299 rows as the prompt table and the warning is gone.
