Direct Ship Product Cannot be Changed (Doc ID 2223110.1)

Symptoms

Product cannot be changed if it Direct Ship flag is checked.

Steps to reproduce the issue:
1. Go to Products > Identify Product Details > Definition
2. Open any product
3. Go to Options2 page
4. Check the Direct Ship from Supplier check box and Save
5. Create new order at Order Management > Quotes and Orders > Create Update Order
6. Select Product selected in 2 above and tab out
7. Try changing the product , you get message saying product change is not allowed
