Purchase Order Price Is Overwrite By Contract Price While Using 'Copy From PO' Functionality. (Doc ID 2226478.1)

Symptoms


Purchase Order price is overwrite by contract price while using 'Copy from PO' functionality.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:


1. Main Menu ->Set Up Financials/Supply Chain -> Business Unit Related ->Purchasing ->Purchasing Definition - BU Options (Make sure that the check box for DEFAULT CONTRACT ON PO is UNCHECKED)
2. Check for a Contract and Create a new PO using the contract for an different amount than the contract price (with reference to contract )
3. Save the PO.
4. Create another purchase order - USE COPY FROM PO - and pick the PO you just created.
5. Expecting to create a PO with PO amount (previously created and used to copy) but it gets Contract line Amount.

Scenario 2:
1. Main Menu ->Set Up Financials/Supply Chain -> Business Unit Related ->Purchasing ->Purchasing Definition - BU Options (Make sure that the check box for DEFAULT CONTRACT ON PO is CHECKED)
2. Create another purchase order - USE COPY FROM PO - and pick the PO you just created.
3. Expecting to create a PO with PO amount (previously created and used to copy) but it gets Contract line Amount.
