EAM: Changing Currency For An Unposted Voucher Generates A Journal Amount Issue - Journal Amounts With Different Signs Are Created (Doc ID 2227055.1)

When attempting to unpost a voucher and change the currency, AP - AM interface consolidates transactions in different currencies and therefore journal amounts with different signs are created.


1. Installation Options (Asset Management: Trans currency Translation - Checked).
2. Market Rates: from EUR to USD - 4.4634 (MODEL, CRRNT).
3. General Ledger Definiton (US001, Currency option, Currency Balancing Option: Balance by base Currency Only).
4. Create Voucher: US001, Voucher ID 00000197, USD 3616.00.
5. Post Voucher and Load it to AM.
6. Run Depreciation Calculation.
7. Create Accounting Entries (AM).
8. Generate Journals (AM + AP).
9. Unpost the Voucher: US001, Voucher ID 00000197, USD 3616.00, Reversal accounting date: Use current Date.
10. Change the Voucher: EUR 1846,00.
11. Post Voucher and Load it to AM.
12. Run Depreciation Calculation.
13. Create Accounting Entries (AM).

- US001, AssetID 000000000128, Bookname: CORP, Base currency: USD;
- Trans Amt: 1770 EUR, Amount -4623,00;

14. Generate Journals (AM + AP):

Header error:

- Field Name: JRNL_HDR_STATUS - set 5860/ Msg 53 - Journal line errors exist for this header;

Line errors:

- Monetary_amount - set 5860/ Msg 38 - Foregn amount and monetary amount are of different signs;

15. Interface Table Overview:

Cost: 3616 USD
Base Cost: 3616 USD

16. Review Cost:

- ADD- 3616.00
- ADJ - 4.623,44

17. Review Acquisition details:

- Amount 3616,00 (Base currency USD, Currency: USD);
- Amount -1770,00 (Base currency USD, Currency: EUR);
