When attempting to use the “Look Up Asset Subtype” search window from the WM_PM_SCHD component, the search window is not recognizing the associated AM Business Unit SetID. As a result, the search is not returning any values for the Asset Subtype.
The View "WM_ASSET_VW" is used as a Prompt Table for ASSET_SUBTYPE on the Add page in component WM_PM_SCHD. In order for the SETID to be defaulted, the property Set Control Field should be set to:SETID in the record field properties for WM_ASSET_VW.ASSET_SUBTYPE.
The “Look Up Asset Subtype” search window should have the associated AM Business Unit SetID defaulted such that the corresponding Asset Subtype values can be listed for selection.
This issue can be replicated by performing the following steps:
1) Add a PM Schedule ID.
2) Click on the magnifying glass for Asset Identification.
3) Enter the Asset type and click on the magnifying glass for Asset Subtype. The corresponding Asset Subtypes cannot be found because the Setid for the AM BU has not been populated.
4) If you enter the Asset Subtype on the Look Up Asset Identification page, the corresponding Assets for the Asset Type/Subtype will be returned for selection.
