E-SQR: In SETENV.SQC, Changing #DEFINE DATETYPE from '0' to '2' Results in Error (Doc ID 2227856.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 27, 2017

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise PT PeopleTools - Version 8.53 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

In the setenv.sqc file, there is the following line:

#define DateType '0' !iDate 0 = mdy, 1 = dmy 2 = ymd

As noted in the commented portion of the line, 0, 1, and 2 all correspond to different date type options and should all be valid values for this property.

However, it has been found that if the value of DateType is changed from 0 to 2 the file no longer runs successfully, and the following error message can be observed in the out file:

Error :
  (SQR 1921) Bad date mask starting at: ':MI:SS'.

SQR for PeopleSoft: Program Aborting.
