Symptoms

APX2000 when run to xls displays merge cell error when trying to open.

STEPS:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to Accounts Payable > Reports > Supplier > Payment History by Supplier.
2. Enter the run control parameters and the format as XLS and run the report.
3. Open the xlsx file which gives the error message

"Excel found unreadable content in 'APX2000.xlsx'. Do you want to recover the
contents of this workbook? If you trust the source of this workbook, click
Yes".
4. After clicking Yes.

Repairs to 'APX2000xlsx'
"Removed Records: Merge cells from /xl/worksheets/sheet1.xml part".

ERROR:
"Excel found unreadable content in 'APX2000.xlsx'. Do you want to recover the
contents of this workbook? If you trust the source of this workbook, click
Yes".
