Display Only Disables Sign Out Button In Fluid Mode -- User Can't Sign-out -- Sign-out Disabled (Doc ID 2236092.1)

Symptoms

WHAT IS NOT WORKING:


Making page Display Only in Permission List disables Sign Out button in Fluid Mode.  Notice its a POINTER only, not a HAND.

 



WHAT IS WORKING:


When the Display Only is not enabled, the Sign Out button works as expected in Fluid Mode.  Notice its a HAND.

 



Significance of loss:

Not able to Sign Out from the affected page, user consequently must navigate to another page to Sign Out

Replication Steps:

1. login as user PS, go to PeopleTools > Security > User Profile > Copy user PS to user KZTEST. Remove the PeopleSoft Administrator Role. Confirm user KZTEST has eProfile Employee Fluid role. Save user KZTEST
2. login as user KZTEST, go to Fluid > ESS > Personal Details > confirm first that the Sign Out Button is active on this page before changing the component to DisplayOnly.
3. login as PS, go to PT > Security > Permissions & Roles > Permissions > open HCCPSS2310 > Click Edit Components for EL_EMPLOYEE_FL, Click Edit Pages for HR_EE_ADDR_FL - Addresses, Click the Display Only checkbox for Addresses. Save and exit.
4. login as KZTEST, and navigate to Fluid > ESS > Personal Details > Addresses
  Sign-out Button no longer has an Active Pointer.



Environment/users:

Replicated in-house in  9.2 PUM17 PT8.55.04

Expected/acceptable results:

Even on a Display Only page, user expects to be able to Sign Out.

Error Message:

No error message occurs.
