Project Costing > Assets > Define Assets - Prompt For Profile ID is Not Using Proper Set ID (Doc ID 2236554.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 28, 2017

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise FIN Project Costing - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 9.2 version, Project Assets

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
The Profile Prompt is not using appropriate Record Group Set ID of AM_15 or AM_15_PC but is using Default Set ID value

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
The Profile Prompt should be using a record group for set id rather than Default Set ID value.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Using Table Set Control, open Set Control Value of 'US001'. For AM_15 or AM_15_PC, change the Set ID to 'US006'
2. Navigate to Project Costing > Assets > Define Assets - Provide BU as US100 and prompt for Profile ID, The Set ID shown is 'SHARE'
3. Go back to Table Set Control, open Set Control Value of 'US001'. Change the Default Set ID as 'US006'
4. Now Project Costing > Assets > Define Assets - Provide BU as US100 and prompt for Profile ID, The Set ID shown is 'US006'

looks like the prompt for profile is using the Default Set ID rather than the set id that are meant for profile either AM_15 or AM_15_PC
