Symptoms

Applies to PeopleTools 8.4x and higher releases

Sample Environment:

Tools 8.54.22
HCM 9.2 to FSCM 9.2

Issue:
--------
For the past few days, the site has been experiencing sporadic error/failure with publication of messages going from HCM9.2 to FSCM 9.2 environment.  When the message is resubmitted, the publication goes to success.

The following message is seen on the Asynchronous service operation monitor's publication contract page.

PublicationContractManager::ProcessError/RetryResponse(): 'Unknown error occurred (possibly a Java HTTP exception). Check Application Server log for details. (94,56)'.

 

The following error is seen in the appsrv log.
