(Doc ID 2242747.1)
Last updated on MAY 23, 2023
Applies to:
PeopleSoft Enterprise PT PeopleTools - Version 8.55 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
Using Puppet DPK command to install PeopleTools components on an APP Server (./psft-dpk-setup.ps1 -env_type midtier -deploy_only -deploy_type all), the components, JAVA, TUXEDO and WEBLOGIC are installed.
For an Application Server, WebLogic is not needed at all. How do I NOT install WEBLOGIC on an APP Server?
Same premise on a WEB server, Tuxedo is not needed, so how to specify to *NOT* install Tux on a WEB Server?
Can I just remove the folder that contains the Weblogic and Tuxedo programs or is there a cleaner way to do it?
