PS 9.2 Purchasing Contract - Release Milestone Issue

Release milestone functionality is not working properly based on release target dates

Scenario: Create a Purchasing contract and then control the PO so that the PO does not exceed contract amount.
Replication Steps:
I tried creating a Procurement contract, PO only - total contract amount 50,000 USD(from Aug 01,2016 to Dec 30,2016 renewal on Nov 30,2016)and added a line description under Control line and under "Order By Amount" tab entered the merchant amount as 25,000 USD and selected Release as Milestone check box. Under the contract milestone defined two lines one for 25% (6,250.00 USD) and another for 75% (18,750.00 USD) and added the target dated as Aug 01,2016 and Sep 30,2016 (selected the first line).

After adding the above details saved the contract. After saving, clicked on Contract Releases and selected the duration Until date till Dec 30,2016 and clicked on Populate.

One line is generated in the release template for 6,250 USD, now click on Stage button. Again go back to the contract and select the second line in the milestone (09/30/2016 and amount 18,750 USD), now again go to create release and select the duration as Dec 30,2016 and click on populate. It creates four entries in the release template (18,750 x 4 = 75,000 USD). Hence when PO is created the entries are in staging table in error status as the amount exceeds the contract amount.

As I have defined a milestone date in the milestone page the system should generate only one line for that amount till target date.
