Information in this document applies to any platform.
An inconsistency in behavior has been detected for the Receipt Verified flag depending on which page the Expenses Approver is reviewing the submitted transaction's data from, regardless of the fact that via Privilege Template, the Approver Profile has been granted full access to modify this field.
- Receipt Verified check-box at the Approve Expense Report - Expense Summary level (Page EX_EXPENSE_APPRV), is fully editable (Record Field PS_EX_SHEET_LINE.RECEIPT_VERIFIED)
- Receipt Verified check-box at the Approve Expense Report - Expense Details level (Page EX_SHEET_APPRV), is grayed out, and cannot be used (Record Field PS_EX_LINE_WRK.RECEIPT_VERIFIED)
According to the below PeopleBooks section:
" Receipt Verified : Select to indicate that a receipt matches a specific expense type. This field is inactive if receipt verification is not required. "
In this case, the Receipt is required for the submitted Expense, and it needs to be verified y the appropriate Approver.
1.- Log into the FSCM Online Application as a System Administrator User
2.- Enable Pre Pay Auditor Approval Level for Expense Report transactions
3.- At the Privilege Template for Pre Pay Auditors for Expense Reports, enable the below settings:
a) Transaction Lines = Full
b) Receipt Required = View
c) Receipt Verified = Modify
4.- At the Receipt Verification Rules level, configure the following setup:
a) Receipts Received Flag = Y
b) Verify Receipts = Y
5.- At the Expenses Definition level for Business Unit US001, enable a Minimum Receipt Amount of 50 USD.
6.- Log into the FSCM Online Application as an Expenses User
7.- Create a new Expense Report, for an Amount of 80 USD, and submit it for approval
8.- Log into the FSCM Online Application as an Expenses Pre Pay Auditor User
9.- Open the submitted Expense Report transaction
10.- Confirm that the Receipt Verified flag is editable at the Expense Summary level (Page EX_EXPENSE_APPRV, Record Field PS_EX_SHEET_LINE.RECEIPT_VERIFIED)
11.- Click on the Expense Details available link
12.- Confirm that the Receipt Verified flag is grayed out at the Expense Details level (Page EX_SHEET_APPRV, Record Field PS_EX_LINE_WRK.RECEIPT_VERIFIED)

Expense Approvers, even though have been granted full permission to modify the Receipt Verified flag at any stage, are unable to mark this checkbox (Record Field PS_EX_LINE_WRK.RECEIPT_VERIFIED) at the Approve Expense Report - Expense Details level (Page EX_SHEET_APPRV). This is not user-friendly, as it forces the User to go back to the Expenses Summary page for the overall Expense Report transaction to perform the necessary task.
If the Approver in question has been granted access to edit the Receipt Verified flag for the Expense transaction type submitted, this flag should be editable at all times, no matter which p[age the User is reviewing the information at.
