Symptoms

Upgrade Issue - Peoplesoft FSCM 9.2/ PT 8.55.07 upgraded from FSCM 9.0 PT 8.49.23

After upgrading from PeopleSoft FSCM 9.0, PT 8.49.23 to FSCM 9.2, PT 8.55.07, Customer encountered an issue wherein an existing people code that used to work in FSCM 9.0 PT 8.49.23 did not work anymore. On further investigation, it was discovered that If there is a a peoplecode containing a reference to a record field at a higher level than the record field is giving a return value of NULL instead of the actual value.

For example in Supplier component if we reference the VENDOR.SETID which is at level 0 from VENDOR_ADDR.LOC.Savedit event (level 2) then the user will not be able to retrieve the value for VENDOR.SETID as it returns NULL.
