'Subscript out of range' Error When Re-enrolling a Student into a Class with a Cancelled/Deleted Component (Doc ID 2244838.1)

Symptoms

On : 9 version, Student Records Enrollment

If a student attempts to re-enroll in an enrollment component of a previously dropped multi component class where the non enrollment component has been cancelled and deleted from the Class Association, the enrollment will generate the following error:

Object Code error : file '/opt/pscust/icsprd/cblbin/SRPCEPRD.gnt'
error code: 153, pc=0, call=1, seg=0
153 Subscript out of range (in SRPCEPRD.cbl, line 23372)




STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Enroll a student into a class with a related component.
  2. Drop the class during the drop/retain period.
  3. Cancel the related component.
  4. Delete the cancelled component from the Adjust Class Associations > Components page.
  5. Attempt to re-enroll the student into the enrollment component.


BUSINESS IMPACT

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, student is not able to re-enroll in the class.
