E-AWE: Push Notification PTPN_MSG_STATE Not Updated To 'Dismiss' After Approval For Users Of Different Languages (Doc ID 2246265.1)

Symptoms

Approval Framework (AWE) prior to HCM 9.2 pi 22 and FSCM 9.2 Pi 24

AWE transactions using Push Notifications, if the approver takes action in a language different than the language of the user at previous step, the PTPN_MSG_STATE Not Updated correctly. The Push Notification items are still present in the list.

The issue can be easily replicated as below:

1. Configure an AWE transaction to use Push Notifications.
2. Initiate a transaction in English.
3. Log in with the first Approver with some other Language, say German for example, and approve the transaction.
4. The transaction is approved but the Push Notification still remains in the list.


Expectation is that the AWE Push Notification PTPN_MSG_STATE should be changed to 'Dismiss' and therefore no longer appear on the Push Notification List.
