E-AWE Push Notification Not Updated For Users Of Different Language

Problem statement:

For AWE transactions using Push Notifications, if the approver takes action in a language different than the language of the user at previous step

The issue can be easily replicated as below:

Configure an AWE transaction to use Push Notifications.
Initiate a transaction in English.
Login with the first Approver with some other Language, say German for example, and approve the transaction.

The transaction is approved but the Push Notification still remains in the list.

Expected Behaviour:
Push Notification items should be removed from the list.

Actual Behaviour:
Push Notification items is still present in the list.

Business Impact:

This is causing confusion for users because they see transactions as pending even after they have taken the actions.
