Information in this document applies to any platform.
In Peoplesoft Cash Management, the documentation that I've seen states that Accounting Templates that are "Inactive" are not available for use. However, that is not the case. I can still select and process an "Inactive" accounting template, all the way to the General Ledger.
Was wondering if there is a patch available to prevent Inactive Accounting templates from being either selected or processed.
Main Menu / Cash Management / Treasury Accounting / Accounting Entries
Select Add a New Value.
Leave all fields as is except Acctg Template.
Select the Acctg Template magnifying glass.
Select the “BSP-ZEROBALTRAN” Inactive Template.
Template populates. We don’t want it to, as users can erroneously enter data to an inactive template.
(Contradicts the documentation.)
