Customer wants Supply Planning to push back the due date on POs by 5 days for Part and Part Inter company Sales Orders, so that when users receive parts from the vendor and users have 5 days to process them before the parts need to be shipped to customer (either outside or inter company customer). Right now Supply Planning is putting Due Date on PO same as Shipped date on Sales Order.
Customer do not want to change this for Unit Sales Orders, which are configured units where Supply Planning is looking at Production ID's (PID's) and determining if any purchased parts are required for assembling the unit, those purchased parts should continue to arrive according to Item/Vendor lead time.
Customer want to see if there is a delivered way to accomplish this. Customer is not currently utilizing Inter unit Transfers, not sure if this will fix the problem at least for inter company part orders.
