Goal

On 9.2, upgrading tools version from PT 8.54.08 to PT 8.55.14.  As part of tools upgrade step , there is step to grant select on v_$im_column_level and v_$im_user_segments to make use of IMDB feature
1. Is it must to have? and script must be run for oracle 12c with PT 8.55 upgrade? or we can skip and proceed, considering it extra performance feature.
2. what are the pros/cons of running/not running this grant script and IMDB feature.
