Symptoms
ISSUE
---------
Attempting COBOL compile using NetExpress 5.1 WP11 on PeopleTools 8.55, from the command prompt it gives the following error
Building the COBOL targets ...
Copying COBOL binaries to CBLBIN directory...
The source directory was W:\PS_HOME
The compile directory was D:\temp
The executable files were copied to W:\PS_HOME\CBLBINA
ERROR! Nothing is compiled. Please check PS_HOME variable.
Checking the CBLBLD.log it shows the compile is failing at the following ..
Copied source from W:\PS_HOME\SRC\CBL to D:\temp
ECHO is off.
Error! COBROOT environment variable ("C:\Program Files\Micro Focus\Net Express 5.1\Base") is not correct!
COBROOT should point to the directory where the COBOL compiler is installed.
Example: c:\NetExpress\Base
