Symptoms

Manage Related Content Service gives SQL error in MSSQL Server DB

>> Main Menu > PeopleTools > Portal > Related Content Service > Manage Related Content Service - Event Mapping - Edit - Component Record Level Event Mapping - Record (Table) Name

Following SQL wouldn’t work in MS SQL server:
select recname, RECDESCR from psrecdefn WHERE recname in (select unique recname from pspnlfield where pnlname in ( select pnlname from pspnlgroup where pnlgrpname = 'COUNTRY_TABLE')) and rectype <> 5 ORDER BY 1

ERROR

SQL error : select recname, RECDESCR from psrecdefn WHERE recname in (select unique recname from pspnlfield where pnlname in ( select pnlname from pspnlgroup where pnlgrpname = 'COUNTRY_TABLE')) and rectype <> 5 ORDER BY 1






STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to Main Menu > PeopleTools > Portal > Related Content Service > Manage Related Content Service - Event Mapping - Edit - Component Record Level Event Mapping - Record (Table) Name
