Symptoms
When Event Rule settings for certain Life Insurance plans are Pre-Enter/Use History or Ignore Plan, those plans display on the Self Service Benefit Enrollment summary page even though the employee cannot make any changes to the plan (as evidenced by the absence of the Edit button for the plan).
STEPS
---------------------------
1. Set Event Rule to Pre-Enter/Use History/Retain Covered Dependent or Ignore Plan for a specific plan for a specific Event Class (Navigation: Set Up HCM > Product Related > Automated Benefits > Eligibility and Event Rules > Event Rules Table).
2. Process an event for this Event Class (Navigation: Benefits > Manage Automated Enrollment > Events > Run Automated Event Processing).
3. Open Self Service Benefits Enrollment as the employee (Navigation: Self Service > Benefits > Benefits Enrollment).
