Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Absence Management FLUID version 9.2

This is for FLUID ONLY and does not occur using Classic.

1. Country take is set up such that Holidays and Off Days ARE included via
calculation rules (exclude holiday/exclued off day boxes are NOT checked).

2. Via Fluid, request a Thursday-Monday absence (thus March 23 - March 27).

3. 5 Day duration is calculated (as expected).

4. It has been determined the employee only requires Friday-Monday absence,
so change the start date to March 24.

5. Duration is not recalculated to 4 days.

HOWEVER.. if the END DATE is changed, the recalculation is fine:

1. Country take is set up such that Holidays and Off Days ARE included via
calculation rules (exclude holiday/exclued off day boxes are NOT checked).

2. Via Fluid, request a Friday-Tuesday absence (thus March 24 - March 28).

3. 5 Day duration is calculated (as expected).

4. It has been determined the employee only requires Friday-Monday absence,
so change the end date to March 27.

5. Duration is properly recalculated to 4 days.
