Symptoms
On : 9.2 version, PT8.55.14, URL/Site Issues
After applying the PT8.55.14 minor update, ALL direct link URLs in Email notifications generated throughout the application are truncated when used, and the <UserID> will go to a Search Page rather than to the specific item that needs to be worked.
As an example, for HCM 9.2 Candidate Gateway, clicking on a direct link to a specific job posting URL goes instead to the Job Search Page.
This will happens throughout the HCM application, and includes products such as: Recruiting Solutions, Absence Management, Workflow, Candidate Gateway, On-boarding. The situation also occurs with FSCM Approval emails as well.
EXAMPLE
Direct link:
7) Copy the URL and open different browser, e.g. IE11, paste the external URL.
Note the URL is truncated. Web Profile is not configured with bypass Login ID, so there is a login Prompt. Login as User/PW. Goes to the Job Search page.
Result: the URL is truncated and goes to the Job Search page.
