E-FTP: Symantec Virus Scan causes users to get kicked out of session after attaching files

On : 8.55 version, File Attachments
PT 8.55.14 Also 8.54.31 

When attempting to attach files to Peoplesoft,
the user doing the attachment is kicked out of the system.

The customer confirmed that when virus scan is disable there are no issues attaching files. When virus scan enabled customers can not attach files to Peoplesoft.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

Navigation: PeopleTools > Utilities > Debug > PeopleTools Test Utilities
Enter URL.RC_ATTACHMENTS (any other valid URL ID)
Attach a file. User is kicked out of the system

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot attach files to PeopleSoft.
