CTM Ignores Data Update Rule When Setting Preferred Email Flag (Doc ID 2266634.1)

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

The Transaction Management Process (SAD_SL_SMP/SCC_SL_SMP) ignores Data Update Rule when setting Preferred email type flag when updating an existing ID. CTM will change the preferred email flag of an email type configured as Do Not Update setting by updating the PREF_EMAIL_FLAG on the EMAIL_ADDRESSES table.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
----------------------------------
The process will not insert or update the email address.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Go to Set Up SACR > System Administration > Utilities > Constituent Transaction Mgmt > Data Update Rule Entry (DUR). Set the Campus email type with a 'Do Not Update' setting on all fields.
2. Set up transaction with DUR by going to Set Up SACR > System Administration > Utilities > Constituent Transaction Mgmt > Transaction Setup.
3. Identify temp ID with a record in staging and production that has at least one email address in which production has a preferred Campus email address.
4. In Constituent Staging, do the following and save changes:
-Set the email type to Home.
-Set the preferred email flag to Yes.
-Set the constituent status to Update ID
5. Click the Run Search/Match/Post button.
6. Compare staging record SCC_STG_EMAIL to production records PS_HCR_PER_EMAIL_I and PS_EMAIL_ADDRESSES.
