Procurement Card Security And Loading Speed Chart Key (Doc ID 2268314.1)

Last updated on MAY 23, 2017

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise SCM Purchasing - Version 9.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Created Speed Chart Key with the type as "Universal" and have assigned the speed chart key to the employee id in test. When this employee id tries to reconcile statements that are in "Staged", the assigned speed chart key is not loaded by default and moreover, it was allowing the user to modify the distribution line even though Reconcile Access Restriction flag is "Selected".

Should only see the SpeedChart menu option available, but both

the SpeedChart and the Distribution line are available and the distribution line CAN be modified manually.

Modifying the distribution line manually is described as the Unrestricted
Access Right, yet this can be performed as Restricted, which shouldn't be occurring.

1-Navigate to Main Menu>Purchasing>Procurement Cards>Definitions>Cardholder
Profile> Enter in an employeeID, for example, IXHEEE102
2- Click on the Card Data tab> Additional Information tab> Click the
Proxies link on the Non-Vendor card (in this example, Card number ***7890 was used)
3- Changed the Role of VP1 to Reviewer
4- Click OK
5- Click Save
6- Navigate to: Main Menu>Purchasing>Procurement Cards>Security>Assign Access
Rights
7- Under the Reviewer column mark the following checkboxes:
- Review Statement
- Reconcile - Set Status to Verified
- Reconcile - Update Distribution (Restricted)
- Reconcile - Modify Verified Transactions
8- Click the Save button
9- Navigate to: Main Menu>Purchasing>Procurement Cards>Reconcile>Reconcile
Statement
10- Clear out the Transaction Dates
11- Click the Search button (Transactions screen appears)
12- Select the transaction with the Card number from the Proxy used in Step 3
13- Scroll over and click the Distributions button (Distributions screen
appears)
14- Should only see the SpeedChart menu option available, but both
the SpeedChart and the Distribution line are available and the distribution line CAN be modified manually.

Modifying the distribution line manually is described as the Unrestricted
Access Right, yet this can be performed as Restricted, which should not be occurring.

Issue occurs in recent versions of 9.1 Bundle 40 and 9.2 PUM #23
