Symptoms
On : 8.55 version, Install and Packaging
After installing a new PS_HOME with PeopleTools 8.55.15 (and relevant application e.g. Campus Solutions 9.0) and recreating the App server and the Web server domains, following errors were observed.
ERROR

Every attempt to sign on via PIA fails with the below error:
Java Exception: java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: Method PeopleSoft.PeopleCode.SysVar.MAP_Market()Ljava/lang/String; not found: registering Java class PeopleSoft/PeopleCode/SysVar PTNUI.NavBarContentArea.Security.OnExecute Name:getSSID PCPC:199 Statement:6 Called from:PTNUI_NAVBAR.Activate Statement:11
The application server log shows at that time error sequences like the following:
PSAPPSRV.nnnn (10) [2017-05-03T18:37:52.978 GetCertificate] - - - (1) (NET.346): Failed to execute GetCertificate request
PSAPPSRV.nnnn (10) [2017-05-03T18:37:59.151 PS@xxx.xxx.xx.xx (CHROME 58.0.3029.81; WIN7) ICPanel] - - - (1) Could not load the JavaVM library jvm
PSAPPSRV.nnnn (10) [2017-05-03T18:37:59.545 PS@xxx.xxx.xx.xx (CHROME 58.0.3029.81; WIN7) ICPanel] - - - (0) Failed to start the Java Virtual Machine. (2,766) PTNUI.NavBarContentArea.Security.OnExecute Name:getSSID PCPC:199 Statement:6

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Install a new PS_HOME for 8.55.15 (and the application e.g. Campus Solutions 9.0)
2. Create the App server and the Web server domains
3. Login to the PIA

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot use the application after installing the new PeopleTools version.
