CRM 9.2: Case Notes Display HTML Tags on RC_CASE_NOTE.RC_DESCRLONG

Goal

Should RTE enabled field RC_DESCRLONG show HTML tags in the database? While RTF is enabled in the RC_NOTE_SBP page for the RC_DESCRLONG field, creating a new case with a sample RTE note and saving it will cause HTML tags to be saved in the database record RC_CASE_NOTE for field RC_DESCRLONG. The customer is using this field in reporting for creating queries based on it and HTML tags should not be contained (text should be stripped of HTML tags before saving it to db).
