Last updated on JANUARY 25, 2021

Information in this document applies to any platform.

When running the PM Projection, the weekly PM Schedule is NOT taking holidays into account and is creating PM Work Orders on holidays.

Expected Behavior
The expectation is that the PM W/O will be created on the previous or next day depending on the options selected on the MM Business Unit for Holiday processing.

Steps of Replication
This issue can be replicated by performing the following steps:

1. Verify the business calendar - 01 is the Calendar
2. Add Monday, 02/20/2017, as a Holiday
3. Associate the business calendar to the Work Order Business Unit Definition
4. Create a PM Schedule with Schedule type Weekly by Day and Day of the Week as “Monday”
5. Run the PM Projection for the newly created PM schedule
6. Enter the following Processing Options: Start Date equal to 02/01/2017 and the End Date equal to 02/28/2017
7. Under View Projection Summary - Notice that projections were created for 4 Work Orders, one of which has a Maintenance Due Date of 02/20/2017. This date should be one business day earlier or later than the holiday per the BU setup
8. Select all projections and create the Work Orders. 4 W/Os were created, including one W/O that is due on 02/20.
