E-LDAP: Unable To Connect LDAP Server Post Tools Patch PT8.55.13 and above On AIX Platform (Doc ID 2278398.1)

Symptoms

On : 8.55.13 version, PIA Core Technology

Unable to connect to LDAP server post tools patch upgrade on AIX Platform.

We are unable to connect to LDAP servers on SSL port post PeopleTools upgrade to PT855.13 and above 
LDAP directory setup is working fine in PT855.11 tools which on upgrading to PT855.13 is failing with below SSL connection connection error -


Error

LDAP Error Code : -1
LDAP Error Message : javax.naming.CommunicationException: simple bind failed:XXX:636 [Root exception is javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: Server chose TLSv1, but that protocol version is not enabled or not supported by the client.]


Replication Steps
--------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

Navigation to Main Menu-> PeopleTools -> Security -> Directory -> Configure Directory (click 'Test Connectivity' tab)


 Root exception is javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: Server chose TLSv1, but that protocol version is not enabled or not supported by the client.
