Slow Performance with Refresh SJT_CLASS_ALL Process (SCRTY_CLSUPD) (Doc ID 2279465.1)

Symptoms

When running AE program SCRTY_CLSUPD the process takes about 3 hours to complete.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to Main Menu > Set Up HRMS > Security > Core Row Level Security > Refresh SJT_CLASS_ALL
2. Select to Refresh Row Level Security by a 'Specific Tree' and then Select DEPT_SECURITY tree
3. Run the SCRTY_CLSUPD process and note it takes almost 3 hours to complete.

 

Changes

Upgraded to PeopleTools 8.53 and Oracle DB 12C from PeopleTools 8.50 and Oracle DB 11.01.
