Problem With ATO File Format After Applying Tax Patches
Last updated on JULY 17, 2017
Applies to:PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM Global Payroll Australia - Version 9.1 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.
Post Application of below patches:
<Patch 25390514>, <Patch 25343141>, <Patch 25875757>, <Patch 26179760>
When running Application Engine - GPAU_PSM_ELC (Create Electornic file for PSM), the resulting file does not confirm to the ATO format. Following are the two issues found:
1. Electronic File is still showing EMPA011.0 and it should be EMPA012.0 it leads to the file errors when uploading to the ATO website
2. From the ATO specifications, the file needs to be: File record length of 630 characters (record 628 + CR/LF 2). But the file generated at PeopleSoft seems to be wider post the patches by 1 character.
The file size is not a correct multiple of the record length
