Fluid Class Search - Additional Ways To Search Instructor No Instructors Returned (Doc ID 2282872.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 03, 2018

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise CS Student Records - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Need the ability to search instructor additional ways.

The PS_SCC_PRFPRIMNMVW record uses Query Security record PS_PERALL_SEC_QRY.

Query Name: SSR_INSTRUCTOR_ES:

SELECT A.CRSE_ID, A.CRSE_OFFER_NBR, A.STRM, A.SESSION_CODE, A.CLASS_SECTION, A.CLASS_MTG_NBR, B.EMPLID,
C.NAME, C.LAST_NAME, C.FIRST_NAME, C.LAST_NAME_SRCH
 FROM PS_CLASS_MTG_PAT A, PS_CLASS_INSTR B, PS_SCC_PRFPRIMNMVW C, PS_PERALL_SEC_QRY C1
 WHERE ( C.EMPLID = C1.EMPLID
  AND C1.OPRID = 'A20EXH1'
  AND ( A.CRSE_ID = B.CRSE_ID
  AND A.CRSE_OFFER_NBR = B.CRSE_OFFER_NBR
  AND A.STRM = B.STRM
  AND A.SESSION_CODE = B.SESSION_CODE
  AND A.CLASS_SECTION = B.CLASS_SECTION
  AND A.CLASS_MTG_NBR = B.CLASS_MTG_NBR
  AND C.EMPLID = B.EMPLID ))

When you run this SQL in SQL developer it returns no rows, but works if you remove PS_PERALL_SEC_QRY C1 table from SQL.

Should not have row level security on query record for class search.  This could be used by students and others.
