Contract Ammendment Page, Process Amendment Is Not Responding Or Is Having Poor Performance.

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
Contract Ammendment Page, Process amendment is not responding or is having poor Performance.

Process Amendment from the General Information Page is taking too long or not responding.

PS_CA_EMAIL_STG is a staging table. It also appears rows should be removed from this table after processing but the process is not deleting when run from page and is hitting the performace very bad some times process is not processing any data.

From the trace sql thats having performance issue is

SELECT PROCESS_INSTANCE, CONTRACT_NUM, CA_COMP_NAME, CONTRACT_LINE_NUM, ACCT_PLAN_ID, BILL_PLAN_ID, CHG_ID,
MS_SEQNUM, MILESTONE_ID, SEQUENCE_5, STATUS_NEW, STATUS_OLD, CA_STATUS_GENERIC, BUSINESS_UNIT,
SOLD_TO_CUST_ID, CONTRACT_TYPE, DESCR, DONE_FLAG FROM PS_CA_EMAIL_STG ORDER BY PROCESS_INSTANCE,
CONTRACT_NUM, CA_COMP_NAME, CONTRACT_LINE_NUM, ACCT_PLAN_ID, BILL_PLAN_ID, CHG_ID, MS_SEQNUM


 

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Process Amendment operation should complete in reasonable time

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create an amendment for a Contract
2. Make some changes to the contract
3. Ready the Amendment and Process amendment for the contract.

This takes more time to complete
