System failing Duplicate TIN validation during eSupplier Self-Registration
Customer has applied solution for BUG# 25129251.
If a Supplier tried to Register in PeopleSoft system using a TIN with spaces in between, but the TIN (with spaces removed) already exists in the system,
the system throws a Duplicate TIN message. This part works.
But, if a Supplier registers with a TIN with spaces in between. Then, if that supplier tries to register again, with the same TIN (without the spaces), the
system allows the supplier to register again.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Register first Supplier with TIN = 111 11 1111
2. Register second Supplier with TIN = 111111111.
3. Duplicate validation is NOT showing.
RESULT: The system should see this as a duplicate TIN value.
