The Affiliation Overrides - Institution must be a field for the staged record name on CTM Transaction Setup.
Navigation: Set Up SACR > System Administration > Utilities > Constituent Transaction Mgmt > Data Update Rule Entry
For an individual that is a current employee, only a few data fields should be updated by the Test Score Load. However, all fields are being updated.
Users are unable to get the CTM Search Match Post process to recognize the Affiliation Overrides setup for a Data Update Rule. The main rule is associated with the Transaction Setup parameter. This main rule has other rules set up by Affiliation on the Affiliation Overrides page.
Per ORACLE Documentation, Campus Community Fundamentals > Setting Up CTM > Setting Up Affiliation Overrides for a Data Update Rule > Under the "Setting up Affiliation Overrides for a Data Update Rule" section, there is a message box which contains the following content:
Warning! To use Affiliation Overrides, Transaction Setup must be set to Partition by Transaction, Institution must be a field for the Staged Record Name entered in the Transaction Status and Date section of Transaction Setup, and the Affiliation Overrides page must be set up.
The delivered staged record for ACT Test Score Load is SAD_PDL_HDR_STG. Therefore, INSTITUTION must be a field on this staging record - SAD_PDL_HDR_STG - for the Affiliation Overrides to work correctly.
If this understanding is correct, why does Record SAD_PDL_HDR_STG not include field INSTITUTION? The delivered transaction setup for ACT Test Score Load does not contain this field and there is no suggestion of a different record to use. Is there one that contains the INSTITUTION field that would work when using PDL to load both ACT Test Score Load and GRE Test Score Load? Shouldn't Affiliation Overrides work correctly for either process?
