Email Address Changes In Docusign Do Not Come Over To Peoplesoft As Changes They Come Across As New Email Addresses (Doc ID 2289659.1)

Symptoms

No Correction Mode in PeopleSoft for DocuSign e-Signature Routing

When an error is made in e-Signature routing or if a signer needs to be replace due to vacation or other unforeseen reasons, there is no option to correct without cancelling and rerouting the document. Correction can be done in DocuSign; however, the correction is not recognized in PeopleSoft. PeopleSoft does not see a deleted signer, replaced signer, or change in email as a correction. PeopleSoft records all correction as an additional Signer. Please see attached.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create a new Document
2. Bypass Approvals
3. Prepare and Route for e-Signature
4. Add 2 email address, 1 will be correct, 2 will be invalid, send
5. Log into Docusign and fix the invalid email address
6. Sign the first signer on the doc, email address is valid
7. Go back to system and refresh the document to show the signers statuses
8. VP1 shows as signed, VP2 shows invalid email address as pending and valid email address for VP2 as pending
9. You can sign for the valid VP2 email address but that will still leave an pending signature for the invalid email address
10. There is no way to fix an invalid email address without canceling the signature process and starting over. This is causing issues with users
