ETL9.2: Time & Labor Custom Rules Are Not Getting Updated During Rules Recompile. (Doc ID 2290272.1)

Last updated on JULY 06, 2020

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM Time and Labor - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Time and Labor Custom rules are not re-compiled with the batch compile mechanism.

1) Batch Re-Compile a user modified rule.
2) Even thought the message says the rule has been re-compiled, the rule has not been re-compiled. The result of the re-compile should be in application Engine TL_TA_RULES, and it is not there.

After code change, the batch re-compile will compile custom and template built rules, and will not compile user exits. The TL_TA_RULES app engine must be looked at in application designer in order to see the changes due to a compile of a custom rule.
