ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

File Integration Framework: File Output Overwrites Previous Output if Run on Same Day

Within the File Integration Framework, the filename has the format of “[user defined output filename]_oprid_YYYY-MM-DD.csv”.

Therefore, if a user runs the process multiple times on the same date, the file will be overwrite the previous by the process.


Steps

----------

Navigate:
Set Up HCM>Common Definitions>File Integration Framework>Schedule File Generation

Navigate to the file integration framework file definition framework.
Change the output file location to a URL (record:\\) or file directory (D:\temp) then click save.
Run the file.
Review the file name in the configured file path & note the file creation time.
Re-run the file.
Notice the previous file is missing, and has been replaced with the newer file.
