EAM 9.2: YTD Depreciation In DEPR_RPT Table Is Freshly Calculated If Asset Is Transferred To A New Chartfield (Doc ID 2292093.1)

Goal

In case of Asset Transfer from from one Chartfield to another (Intraunit/Interunit), the DEPR_YTD value is calculated all over again for new Chartfield. Why is this so?

Example -
Say an asset on chartfield A began depreciating (straight line) by $120 in year 2017 - so for each month, depreciation would be $10. Now transfer this asset to chartfield B in Period 10. The YTD depreciation in depr_rpt table until Period 10 will be $100 for 2017/10/CF A. Now when YTD depreciation is calculated for 2017 Period 11 for CF B, the previous YTD depreciation should also transfer out to CF B, hence making it $110. However YTD depreciation in Depr_Rpt table is freshly calculated for CF B and is $10.
